My Story

Many people view detoxing as eliminating unwanted byproducts left in the body, however, one of the most important parts of detoxing is putting good sources of nutrients into the body while eliminating unwanted ones. Simply focusing on elimination misses the greater picture. The big picture is to nurture your whole system and elevate it to a greater level of operation. A good way to support your whole system is to focusing on boosting your immune system, your muscle strength, and your gut health.

Detox Guidelines: Simple detox guidelines include avoiding gluten, soy, and dairy. There are countless food choices available if you choose to replace gluten, soy, and dairy with more nutrient-dense foods. It is also important to eat clean meats with no hormones, antibiotics, or steroids, and wild caught meats, and filling your body with mostly plants.

Cellular support: You can support your cells through autophagy. Autophagy is when the new cells kill off the bad old diseased cells in your body. This happens when you are
sleeping 7-9 hours a night and not eating for twelve hours. During this time new cells can regenerate and your body can get rid of the old cells. Autophagy is a great tool for longevity and prevention of chronic illness.

Detox teas: parsley, thyme, sage, dandelion, ginger, turmeric, chamomile, lavender, and hibiscus are excellent teas that support your body during detox by opening your detox paths.

Detox supplements: Many people think detoxing is getting rid of the bad things in your body. However, detoxing is just as much about putting good things into your body to support it, while the bad is leaving. On a good detox, you are continuously putting good things into your body through chemical free foods and home products, supplements to support your immune system, and supplements that will help you eliminate the bad things in your body, such as with a binder. Some of these supplements include glutathione, zinc, B vitamins, Vitamin C, quercetin, turmeric, omega 3’s, and vitamin D with K.
